HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF AGAINST IDENTITY THEFT

One of the fastest growing consumer crimes in our country is identity theft. Most victims don't learn that their identity has been stolen until something goes terribly wrong... their credit is ruined, they are in default of unauthorized loans, warrants are outstanding for their arrest, etc. On average it takes two years and about $1400.00 for identity theft victims to clear their credit and good names. This two hour class will describe some of the ways thieves get personal information about their victims, what you can do to protect yourself from identity theft and what you need to do if someone steals your personal information.

PLAN FOR THE RETIREMENT YOU WANT

For the baby boom generation, a lot has changed in a very short time. Where once many were perhaps more confident about reaching retirement goals, the economic crisis has left people wondering how long it could take to recover and if their retirement savings can fund the 20-30 year retirement they envision.

In this one evening class, you will learn how retirement income planning can help to bring a sense of clarity to your financial life and discuss retirement questions including:

  • How can I work toward rebuilding my portfolio after market losses?
  • How do I prepare for unexpected and rising costs, especially health care costs?
  • How can I prepare a tax minimization strategy against the prospect of rising taxes?
  • How can I reduce the chances of outliving my savings?

Join us for a discussion which will tap into current thinking among retirees and can help you plan your way forward.
